This restaurant has such friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious! There is seating inside and a small patio, but we have also gotten takeout.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant offers a deliciously vibrant experience that will make you feel right at home.

One of the standout features of Salsas is its diverse and mouthwatering menu. You can expect a wide variety of Mexican classics, from sizzling fajitas and tacos to hearty burritos and enchiladas. What sets Salsas apart is their commitment to using fresh ingredients, which results in dishes bursting with flavor. The salsa bar is a fan favorite, offering a range of salsas from mild to fiery hot, so you can customize your meal just the way you like it.
On a recent visit, I had the chance to try their chicken fajitas, and they did not disappoint. The grilled chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, complemented by sautéed peppers and onions. It was served with fresh tortillas and a side of guacamole that was as creamy as it was flavorful. It’s clear that Salsas doesn’t cut corners when it comes to the quality of their food.
If you’re looking for something to satisfy a major appetite, their burritos are a must-try. The “Salsas Burrito” comes loaded with your choice of protein, rice, beans, and a blend of melted cheese, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. It’s the kind of dish that leaves you full but wanting more at the same time. Whether you opt for beef, chicken, or shrimp, each option is packed with flavor, and the portion sizes are generous enough to share-though you’ll likely want it all to yourself!
For those who prefer a lighter option, the grilled chicken salad is a great choice. Packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and topped with perfectly grilled chicken, it’s a refreshing break from the heavier dishes. Salsas also offers an assortment of specialty drinks, including their popular margaritas, which pair perfectly with any dish.
Another reason Salsas stands out is its commitment to delivering great value. With generous portions and prices that won’t break the bank, you’re definitely getting more than your money’s worth. We sat in the corner booth by the door, and it was a little windy. It's not the fault of the restaurant, just poor seat choice on our part. Guacamole was good, which is the first thing we try at every restaurant. I had the fajitas Manuel, which had a good portion of shrimp. I would have liked to have a little more seasonings because it was a little bland but good. Hubby had the Burrito California, which was huge, and he enjoyed it a lot. We are very picky on Mexican food, and Michigan has a hard time getting Mexican food right, but we will be going back.
Super clean inside just as I like it to be! Food is fire and staff is friendly. Must try Mexican restaurant.
I have 6-7 mexican restaurants within 5 minutes of my house, but when i want authentic Mexican I drive to the north side of town to Salsa. Clean, welcoming, superb salsas (per their name), and closest i have found to authentic Mexican since living there for years. Best overall Mexican value in town.
Although I have moved to Grand Rapids MI, I still am frequently in Battle Creek. The tacos in Grand Rapids are absolutely fantastic. However, this place still draws me in. Small, warm and nice service. The food is good and the tacos are amazing. Honestly, what more do you want from a local Mexican restaurant. Loved it when I lived there and still do.
Food is good but menu prices on the website, on the board and the menu are all wrong. Expect to pay about $2 more on every item. I ordered in the restaurant for takeout and asked for salad and chips. The waitresses gave me a 32 oz salas to go with one burrito. $12! Watch what you are being charged for...seems they want to upsell to make an extra buck.
